Two large paintings were put together in a collaborative effort. Each third grader painted one square each.
The planning included, choosing a picture, simplifying the image, enlarging the image, numbering all of the shapes, customizing paint colors, cutting the squares, transferring the images onto each square and facilitating and administering the process of having the students paint the sqaures.
Once all of the squares were painted, I glued the squares in place on masonite. The painting was then framed with a beautiful recycled frame!
